Due to short-circuit, the temple got the fire on May 18, 2014 and the total investment of USD1.3 million dollars for the sermon area were gone. Besides that the wooden sculpture Buddha and Elm doors were damage and also lost USD 1 million dollars. The recovery fund was over USD 1.7 million dollars.
After the fire, the supervisor of the temple invited many professional experts to decide how to do the fire protection.
